SOCIAL VALUE
Building Heroes Property services support Social Value outcomes…

We work relentlessly on keeping up to date seeking vacancies providing a mix of national opportunities labourer, to technical and professional roles.

Our military learners bring with them a rich and valuable set of transferable skills that are highly sought after in the civilian workforce. These include a strong and dependable work ethic, the ability to adapt and remain flexible in changing environments, and a deep-rooted sense of respect and discipline. These qualities are universally appreciated and admired by employers across industries, making military learners exceptional candidates for a broad range of positions.

When it comes to diversity, we believe that simply having females working in traditional areas such as human resources is not enough. We are proud to provide highly skilled tradespeople from diverse backgrounds including women with specialist trade skills, who can support and contribute to all areas of your business. This approach not only enhances workplace inclusivity but also brings fresh perspectives and skills to traditionally male-dominated sectors.

As an added incentive, employers who choose to recruit military service leavers can take advantage of a valuable financial benefit: a national insurance holiday for the first year of employment. This translates into significant cost savings, amounting to approximately 15% of the employee’s salary, making it a financially attractive option to support recruitment while investing in highly capable personnel.

Additionally, those military personnel who have completed five or more years of service are eligible for Enhanced Learning Credits (ELCAS). This government-backed scheme provides access to funding for a wide range of educational qualifications at level 3 and above, supporting lifelong learning and professional development. This benefit empowers service leavers to continue building their skills and qualifications, helping them transition smoothly into civilian careers with enhanced capabilities.
